Gallerysmith will be exhibiting at Melbourne Art Fair, Stand A61 (on balcony, near VIP Lounge) from August 4-8. We will be showing new bodies of work by Dadang Christanto, Nici Cumpston, Siri Hayes and Tony Albert. We hope to see you there.

Tony Albert is included in a group exhibition in Korea later this year, curated by Victoria Lynn. The exhibition will feature Tony's No Place photographs from 2009. Gallerysmith still has a few editions of three of the images.

Siri Hayes is currently being exhibited as part of the innovators series at Linden CCA. The work is a collaboration between Siri and Melbourne composer Eve Duncan.

Susan Purdy is showing a new major work in Bushfire Australia, an exhibition at TarraWarra Musuem of Art. Susan's installation Australia Phoenix: A Cosmology features in the Vista Walk gallery. The exhibition continues til July 25.

A number of Nici Cumpston's hand-coloured works will be exhibited in a group exhibition at the NGV later this year called Stormy Weather. Nici is also included in In the Balance: Art for a Changing World at Sydney's Musuem of Contemporary Art from August - November. 

The Mitchell Library at the State Library of NSW is currently hosting a major exhibition to celebrate it's centenary year. Titled ONE hundred, the exhibition comprises one hundred of the most important works from its vast holdings, and will include the collaborative artist's book, Eyewitness, by Theo Strasser and Peter Lyssiotis. Produced in an edition of 10, Gallerysmith has the last remaining copy. Viewing by Appointment only.
