In a healthy forest, each tree is connected to others via microscopic underground circuitry, referred to as a mycorrhizal network. This connection enables trees to share water, nutrients and information. Larger tees help the smaller ones to flourish. I would like to hope that one positive that will emerge out of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic is that Australia has been reminded that sharing and distributing resources to the whole population, is beneficial to all levels of society, not just the economy.
